《远大前程》是狄更斯晚期的作品，我感觉也是他最成熟的一部作品。这个书名明白我读完才明白是有讽刺意味的，它讲述了一个孤儿，匹普想当上等人的梦想幻灭的故事，他最终没有当成上等人，当然也就没有了所谓的远大前程。本书以极其精彩的故事情节紧扣读者的心弦，生动地描述了一个饱受苦难并同命运不断抗争的孤儿匹普的心理历程，最终他最终悟出人生道理，成为一名普通人，并与初恋情人握手重逢，获得了圆满的结局。
《远大前程》的故事情节有它的独特之处，读来让读者有一种欲罢不能的感觉。本书的主人公匹普，更是联系其它人物主角的一条主线。环境能够改变人的命运，匹普就是被环境改变的。一开始，匹普还是一个孩子的时候是多么的天真，轻易信人，富有同情心86.。然而，匹普遭遇的宿命就是遇上了一位女皇般的姑娘，这位姑娘将透彻影响他的一生。
在第十七章中，说敌人进攻鬼不灵，并压了一批囚犯，这囚犯里面，刚好有老钟叔，小嘎子河区队长一看，都很恼火，这时，区队长想到，能够把敌人引到西部，那里火力强大，能够乘机救出他，可那里有个柜子的据点，小嘎子一想，我去吧，就经过区队长的同意去了。
_Great Expectations_ is the late works of Dickens, but also his most mature work. The title is ironic, it tells an orphan, Pip wants to be the ideal upper story of disillusionment, he eventually did not as a gentleman, of course, and there is no so-called Great Expectations.

皮普年幼就失去双亲，只能和姐姐一家生活在一起。姐夫乔是个铁匠，皮普的未来一望可见，长大后和姐夫学打铁。命运却不按照剧本而来，皮普机缘巧合之下认识了郝薇香小姐。郝薇香小姐结婚前夜被丈夫抛弃，从此性格怪异，独居多年。艾斯黛拉是被郝薇香小姐领养的孤儿，美丽却没有心。十来岁的皮普很快就爱上了艾斯黛拉，却被艾斯黛拉玩弄于鼓掌之中。转机再次出现，皮普在和姐夫学了两年打铁后，突然接到消息，可以继承一大笔钱财。他可以前往伦敦求学，等到了年龄还可以继承一笔遗产。皮普一直以为，这是郝薇香小姐在资助他以成全他和艾斯黛拉，一直满怀期待。在伦敦，皮普开始了他的上流生活，逛剧院，挥霍钱财，甚至还雇了个小童为他服务。但是，他和艾斯黛拉却依旧没有什么进展。他的生活环境也使他产生了心态变化，对以往在铁匠铺的生活他避而远之。虽然他明白姐夫乔的好心肠，但是也不太愿意与之交往了。
远大前程的幻灭来得很快。资助他钱财的人其实是逃犯马格维奇，而这个逃犯找到了皮普，说出了他资助皮普的真相。原来，在皮普年龄尚小的时候，曾救过马格维奇一次。为了报恩，马格维奇辛辛苦苦在海外干活，把钱寄回来给皮普生活。马格维奇希望看到皮普成为人上人，他顶着逃犯的身份偷渡回国，时刻都有可能被抓。皮普陷入了惶恐与不安，他担心马格维奇被抓。他猛然明白郝薇香不是资助他的人，艾斯黛拉冷漠对他也是真的不喜欢他。一切都推倒重来，皮普努力帮助马格维奇离开伦敦前往别的城市，逃脱追捕。最终，马格维奇还是被捕，皮普拒绝了继承马格维奇的遗产，全部上交法庭。在这么多的打击下皮普生病了，在他发烧性命垂危时，是他的姐夫前来照顾他康复。
经历了这一番波折后，皮普又重归原点，但是他的心态完全改变。从一开始一文不值靠姐姐一家养大，到后来有人资助挥霍无度忘了自己的亲人，最后远大前程幻灭后惶惶不可终日。最终，通过这一系列变化，皮普明白了真正的亲情、友情，回归朴实生活，重获新生。人生之中很多事情都是都是金钱无法替代的。
我很佩服狄更斯，他把当时社会的一副完整的画卷展示在你面前，其中的每个人物都有血有肉，值得细细推敲，而我所说的不过千分之一。
Thoughts on Great Expectations
During the last month, I have been reading the novel named Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I set up my mind to finish reading it for the simple reason that I have read the Chinese version of this great novel and I was deeply attracted by the story.
The main character in this novel is Pip and the whole story goes like this: Pip was a orphan and was brought up by his sister “by hand”. His sister Mrs. Joe was very strict with him while his brother-in-law treat him kindly. As a result, the two developed a intimate relationship. Since Pip was asked to visit Miss Havishams’s house, his mind and his fate began to change. In Miss Havishams’s home, Pip saw her adopted daughter Estella and fell in love with her at the first sight. Then he was determined to be well-educated and become a gentleman in order to deserve the beautiful girl Estella. And much to his delight, he was given a large sum of money and an opportunity to study abroad by an anonymous person. After a period of time, his great expectations came true and he became a gentleman at last. However, he found out that the money was offered by the criminal he had saved when he was young. He felt ashamed and didn’t want to use the money any more. What’s worse, the criminal Magwitch escaped from prison to visit Pip and was noticed by the police. At last, Magwitch was sentenced to death and Pip led a normal life. The beautiful lady became a widow as her husband died. But Pip still loved her and promised to be friends with her all the same. This ending is a bit reaasuring.
Among those several characters in the novel, my favourite is Magwitch. He was homeless and poor when he was young and he used to be put into prison several times. No one cared about him, so when little Pip saved him by giving him some food, he felt moved. And he bore Pip’s help in his mind. When he was exiled overseas, he was determined to make a lot of money and help Pip become a gentleman. He worked hard and saved every coin he could, and then sent it to Pip. He did all of these secretly in order to prevent little Pip from being embarrassed. After Pip became a real gentleman, Magwitch returned to England in secret only to see whether Pip had led a good life. What we can find from him is deep love for Pip. Although the society has deserted him, he is not deserted by himself. Different from Miss Havishams who is black-hearted, Magwitch is like a father. He showed his love to Pip without any hesitation. He was just like Pip’s father. This is why I admire him very much.
Then when I look back into our society, I find that some parents are not as good as the criminal Magwitch. Cases are that parents push their children to work hard in order to be admitted into the college where they were eager to go when they were young. This usually leads to two consequences. One is that the children are exerted too much pressure and they go to extremes. The other is that their children do as they are told to and don’t have their independent thinking. They lack the comprehensive abilities to cope with fierce competition in today’s society. In other words, they are likely to survive in this competitive world.
God is equal to everyone. When Magwitch knew that Estella was his daughter and had been loved by Pip, he felt relieved. I am also relieved because one good turn deserves another.
这两年养成阅读习惯，几本书同时读，精力容易集中时就看诗歌诗论，还有哲学历史之类，倦了时便拿起有情节的小说散文。最近读的小说是狄更斯的名著《远大前程》，以前看过电影的小人书，没有看过原着。
自从开始学写诗歌，看小说也与以前侧重不一样，故事的精彩、情节的曲折、结构的安排等，都不是主要的关注目标，更注重语言、哲思等对诗歌有益的方面，或者总结对自我有用的人生经验。这本书开头的语言十分有特色，锐利、内敛、辛辣又不失巧妙的幽默，还有一些新奇的比喻，十分喜欢。
小说里每个人的命运奇特地交织在一齐，那天与好友谈及小说《安娜卡列尼娜》里安娜对待感情的态度，我对安娜的态度是不认同的：没有感情就没有生命的活力，没有活力的燃烧便不是真正的感情，最终以放弃自我的生命去挽回自以为失去的感情，让自我悲惨的同时又把不幸带给了身边每一个人，这种不顾一切的刚烈，是说她勇敢呢？还是说她偏执呢？
而同样的偏执联想到了《远大前程》里的赫薇香，她疯狂地追求感情，却中了骗局，在婚礼当中遭到背叛，从此她的生活就停顿而后死寂了，时钟永远停在8：40，她穿上的新娘礼服，没有穿上的一只鞋，没有带上的首饰，没有合上的行李箱，还有桌上的结婚蛋糕，二十多年就维持原样不动，她再也不见阳光，不再相信感情，对男人充满仇恨，她彻底放弃了自我正常的生活，像一个活死人般直到白发苍苍。她不仅仅毁了自我的一生，她把养女艾丝黛拉训练成报复的工具，也毁掉了艾丝黛拉的青春。
她到底可怜不可怜呢？会对她产生同情之心吗？一个人归根结底命运是要靠自我掌握，不能因为一次挫折就仇恨一切，就放弃一切，谁的一生不经坎坷呢？摔倒了爬起来，还要活的更坚强更好，这才是对命运的不公与感情的背叛最好的'报复。毁了自我的一生，仅有自我吃亏，失去的更多，那害她的人会有一点点损失吗？自我又能挽回什么呢？
而主人公匹普同样疯狂地爱上了艾丝黛拉，他十分自卑，因为等级的差异觉得感情无望十分绝望，觉得以往温暖他的一切都黯然失色，连真诚地爱恋他，青梅竹马的善良温暖的贝蒂也选择无视。等他交了好运变成上等人，感情却对他依然是幻梦，艾丝黛拉已被试练得不会爱，不懂爱，心里从小就塞满了冰，他的感情依然是空。但他不能不爱她，不管她多么恶劣，所以他觉得无怨无悔。等他的远大前程走到尽头，在乔与贝蒂的感召下，他恢复了纯朴的本性，决定去寻找贝蒂，重新开始踏踏实实的生活。但他病愈后正赶上贝蒂与乔结婚。两头落空的匹普远赴他乡十多年。匹普对待感情是真诚的，是无私的，想与贝蒂一齐生活是现实的选择，这是普通人都会遇到的，也无可指责。
而贝蒂，这个书中着墨不多的人物，却是女性主角中最光辉的，而拥有最正确的感情态度是贝蒂，她纯洁无私，善解人意，总是尽自我最大的努力帮忙匹普，从来没有要求过回报。在匹普变成上等人之后，在匹普变得自私虚荣以后，依然真诚地帮忙他却不打扰他，匹普打回原形梦幻破灭，与匹普的姐夫乔一齐，又给予他最温暖的人间真情。但贝蒂忠于自我的感情，也爱惜自我，不把自我的命运寄托在任何人身上，在明白与匹普不可能有结果，她还是认真地生活，努力地读书提高丰富自我，但却不是为了成为所谓的上等人，最终与同样朴实善良的乔产生感情，过上幸福真实的日子。
看书不太追究情节上的不足与人物设计的超现实，而注重作家设计这个人物想表达的意图，想颂扬或者批判的现象，而结合我们自身，总结书中人物的经验或者教训，以培育自我构成正确的人生观与价值观。
就如我们要像安娜一样勇敢地追求感情，但不能把感情当作生命本身；像我们要学着像贝蒂与乔一样无私真诚，不攀富，不嫌贫，不贪不妒，对待友情与感情只求付出不求回报；我们还要像贝蒂一样爱惜自我，不纠结以往失去，永远努力向上地生活；我们也要像匹普一般，在梦幻破碎之后，没有一蹶不振，而是回归本性，脚踏实地清清白白地继续向前；我们不要像赫薇香那样轻易就仇恨一切报复一切，最终报复的却是自我。这就是我们普通人读书的意义吧。
《远大前程》是英国著名批判现实主义小说家狄更斯晚期最具有代表性的作品之一，“在结构和语言上堪称完美”。试图从小说的主题、人物刻画及自己的感想等角度，来表达自己的读后感想。
一、老师上课的讲授，我知道了《远大前程》（又名《孤星血泪》）这部著名的小说，并对它产生了浓厚的兴趣，于是利用课余时间略读了整部小说。下面就这部小说谈谈我小小的感想。
三、下面简单介绍一下这部小说的主要内容：主人公匹普，是个孤儿，他依靠姐姐的抚养长大。但姬姐对他很粗氮只有姐夫却处处回护他。在小时候，匹普曾经掩护过一个逃亡的囚徒。后来，他被镇上的一个神经质的地主贵族小姐叫去伺候比给她消愁解闷。在那里，匹普见到了郝薇香的养女，美貌而又高傲的艾丝黛拉。匹普深深地爱上了她。他自伤形秽，为了要得到艾丝黛拉的爱情，他一心想做个“上等人”。匹普逐渐长大成人了，他当了干铁匠营生的姐夫的学徒，但是连年过节还是上郝薇香家去，思管这时郝薇香已经招艾丝黛拉送出国“接受上流小姐的教育去啦”，可是匹普却越来越热恋着艾丝黛拉。后来匹普意外接受了一份遗产，说是有个不愿透露姓名的财主委托他通知匹普，并且到伦敦去接受“上等人的教育”。匹普还以为这是出于郝薇香的主意，他的幻想可以变成规实了，自然全盘接受这种安排。匹普来到伦敦接受“上等人”教育的时期，艾丝撰拉又回国了，匹普又能经常和艾丝黛拉相见。艾丝黛拉若即若离、忽冷忽热的态度把个匹普挑逗得十分痛苦。但是匹普还是一厢情愿地以为这是郝薇香为了成全艾丝黛拉和他的好姻缘，给他的磨炼和考验，因此，还是苦苦地恋着她。然而不久，真相就大白了。有一个人来找匹普，匹普认出此人就是他童年时救过的逃犯。原来就是这个逃到海外异国发财致富的囚犯阿伯尔。马格韦契暗中出钱要把他匹普培养成一个“上等人”。他现在偷偷回国，就是想看一看他安培养的上等人现在出落得怎么样了。这件事完全和郝薇香无关。郝薇香所以一再找匹普去，在精神上对匹普进行了无情的折磨。按照当时英国的法拽逃往海外的囚徒重回本国是耍处以绞刑的。匹普干方百计张罗船只想把马格韦契送上去美洲的轮船，但结果被马格韦契的死对头，也就是过去教唆马格韦契犯罪后来却消遥法外的主犯康佩生所发现。他追踪前来，使得马格韦契没有逃成功。匹普原来心里所怀的巨大的希望、理想，终于全部破灭了：人家应许给他的让他成为“上等人”基础的财产，因为马格韦契身份的暴露而全部落空了。要不是匹普的好心的姐夫的'支援，匹普最后还得被关进债务人_。故事的结局是：匹普靠一个好朋友的支持，才在海外找到一点立足之地。十多年以后，他回国来探望姐夫。有一天，他去凭吊已经死去的郝薇香的庄屋，不料他在那里见到了已经寡居的艾丝熊拉，原来她也是来凭吊这座废墟的。最后，两个饱经沧桑的爱人，在互道“我们言归于好”中离开了这个富有象征意义的吞噬一切的废墟。故事中的小说生动地描写了由于对金钱和上流社会生活的追求，原本天真善良的主人公匹普逐渐变得虚荣、忘恩负义，而“恩人”的出现使他不得不重新面对现实，在一系列的变故中，他最终回归人性之美；
四、读完这本小说，读罢匹普的坎坷人生，我反复斟酌匹普带给我的启发：书中这个典型的英国贫民，从小做着过上奢华上等生活的梦想。意外得到了一笔财富而得意满满，却不意看到了上等生活的种种劣迹与不幸，最终得知财富的背后其实也是没有脱离世俗与肮脏。幸好及时醒悟过来，只有踏实的工作和生活才是真善美。
我想说我们每个人心中都会为自己定下将来的目标，并想在社会上体现自己的价值所，小小的天有着大大的梦想。现在我们要靠的是知识与智慧才能立足扎根，这知识便来源于现在所学的知识，学的多，学的好，根才扎的深，站的住脚，这就足以说明一切的前程靠自己拼搏进取，在父母创建的舒适的学习环境下静心学习，投入地学习，这才是真正的通往远大前程，自己美好蓝图的捷径。。为了达到我们的目标，前程，不管是大是小，成败与否，都取决于自己，依靠自己的能力实现自己的远大前程，在这期间饱受锻炼，挫折，通过自己的奋斗达到的前程才是最远大的。
